1st day of shooting complete…

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009 @ 11:36 pm | The Panasonic DVX-100b, Visionary:the movie

Well, I had envisioned getting the whole thing shot in one day…but alas, it just didn’t go that way. A bit of rain, alot of pedestrain traffic, and a whole lot of me not knowing what I am doing. Luckily for me, Steve did such a great job ,Krisha was a great big help ( she has a major acting role later as well!) and Darryl ,and Bobby were right on the money. Thanks all of you! That was a great, great first day. the footage we shot looks great, and the performances…well, Bobby is going to get the best actor award. He just put it all out there. I was really, really impressed. Darryl was perfect as the bad guy! Who knew!?

Here are a few pictures of the day of trafffic and alley ways

Note Stephen’s Badonk-A- Donk Pack (It’s much too big for a fanny pack)

Darryl getting told how much he was getting paid for his work ($0)

Thanks again Steve,Krisha,Bobby, and Darryl!

You are the one who should be thanked for allowing your big brother in the film I feel like Clint Howard getting to be in his brother Ron Howard’s movies. HAHAHA

    2. Bro. Stephen Says:

that’s not a nice think to say about Clint. Hehehe. Just joking. You did a great job, everyone did a great job.

    3. daryl Says:

Clint Howard is a “good lookin fella” it is weird how the younger brothers always look a little like the big brother but as if something is off a bit. for example look at Patrick Swayze’s little brother Don Swayze looks close but of a little off. oh well must be in the water or something. How bout John Cusacks twin brother Joan he’s looks… Whats that oh Joan is a woman are you sure? you got to be kidding. oh well that ruined that analogy. SEE YA!

    4. rapson2000 Says:

I think you are less Clint Howard and more Frank Stallone.

    5. dsto Says:

      I’m the fat Baldwin brother…..

    6. rapson2000 Says:

Um… which one is that, exactly?

    7. daryl Says:

Tho one in the middle some where I think. I know the younger one has a lazy eye or somthing

    8. Bro. Stephen Says:

how about Charlie Murphy or Tito Jackson

    9. Bro. Stephen Says:

      or best yet James Belushi

    10. Bro. Stephen Says:

oh wait, tito doesn’t look like micheal anymore

    11. Mom Says:

Geez!!!! Looks like a professional movie company at work. I can hardly wait to see the “reel thang”. When does it have to be completed? Am I supposed to be praying for “more rains” or “more brains”, I forget…..?

Anywho, keep up the good work….when we go to the awards ceremony, do I get to sit with you guys or will I have to watch it on TV in a backroom? Remember when you make the big time, I want to meet Gerard Butler, so do you think you could arrange that for your old Mother?

    12. dsto Says:

no, but I think we can arrange a meeting with his brother Gary.

    13. dsto Says:

      rains and brains

    14. Sis from the south Says:

Wow!what daryl brought home was GREAT! dsto – didn’t know you were so good. bro Stephan – good job too. Bobby did an academy award performance – can’t wait to see the rest of it. BTW – Krisha please tell me the boys aren’t rubbing off on you!

    15. dsto Says:

Thanks Sis. Help Darryl finish up his overdub work!

    16. daryl Says:

Finished the Over dub’s and still had time to go to the Smokies for a day of bear chasi’n.

    17. dsto Says:

So..is it true? Does a bear…uh…you know, in the woods?

    18. daryl Says:

Not sure, but I did see a lot of trees down and I asked a bear if it made a sound when it fell and it said GRRRAAWWWLLGRRRRRRRWWWWH! I am not sure if that was a yes or if he was asking for some Charmin ( according to the TV that’s all they use)
