OK then….I have a problem. I need to be able to download a song that is a MP3 file to a CD. The net says it is ok to download as a MP3 file but it doesn’t say how to copy to a disc. Any suggestions? Strain those braims boys!!!!

    3. Bro. Stephen Says:

ok, when you put a blank cd into your recordable cdrom drive a screen should pop up and ask you how you want to record to the disc. choose to option copy files to disc and it will give you a window to copy your mp3s to and then click record. if that doesn’t work, when you put your blank in the drive you should be able to open the cd through the my computer icon and copy the mp3s directly to the cd. if that doesnt work give me a call and i will talk you through it.

    4. Bro. Stephen Says:

oh, i hope i didnt strain my braim.

    5. dsto Says:

You probably use Windows Media Player. If none of what Stephen told is doing it, You can open up Media Payer and on the left there is a tab for copying files or music, (or the “Burn” option up top for older versions). open that up and there will be a column for the files to be copied, you can click and drag your music file there and click burn and that should do it!

We have purchased a new camera! The Panasonic DVX-100b. We decided to upgrade and give us a more options. Check the
Brothers Studios Plus site in the coming weeks for our take on this camera. This is the newest version of a great camera that has been out for a little while. It seemed to fit our needs (and budget!) best. Visit http://brothersstudiosplus.blogspot.com/ for more info. We will also give you our take on the web site/store where we purchased the DVX. ( as any that has made a signifigant purchase on the web knows, it is a scary experience, especially when dealing with a company you have no experience with.)
      I’m dsto, and I’m out!

    7. Daryl Says:

Ok here is my tech question. When I use my web cam it is slow and does not show me in real time why? It is like a security camera if you run fast enough in front of it you can almost not even see yourself.

    8. Steve Says:

Web Cam Question- Check and see if you can change the frame rate(frames per second). The more FPS you have, the smoother the image will be. The problem also could be the bandwidth of your signal. The higher the bandwidth you have, the more information you can send/receive. That’s why when a song is played on an AM station it doesn’t sound as good as the same song played on an FM station. FM has a higher bandwidth than AM. That’s why AM is mostly talk radio.

    9. Mom Says:

Jeremy from church tried to download the song that I was trying to copy to a disk. We were all excited about it when he was able to but that excitement died dead when we tried to listen to it with our CD players. Some people could hear it on their players and some couldn’t. I could listen to it on my computer but not on my CD player. I’ve given you hints to our problem so can you tell what I need to do (adjust settings, etc?) to get a good copy?

    10. dsto Says:

Some CD players (especially older moedels) will not play “homemade” CD’s. If it is playing on some players and not others, That is probably the case. Also make sure you are using CD+R discs. They are more compatible with more players.Other than that, I do not know what settings you could record the discs to make them play on all players. Anyone else have any thoughts?
